Love Nugget: Ben Affleck and his very serious new squeeze, Ana De Armas have been hold-up at a cabin like cottage in the Mohave Desert, a place called Joshua Tree about 25 miles from P.S. Take it to the bank, these two are destined for a wedding.
Because we are all stuck at home because of the virus and watching more television there are a couple films available on demand that I want to share, and they couldn’t be more different. First, on Netflix is a documentary A Secret Love. It’s about two ladies who met when they were 20. One played in the Girl’s Professional Baseball league, from the movie A League of Their Own was based. They fell in love and hid their lesbian affair for over 60 years. But through home movies and these now old ladies telling their story, it is touching to the point of bringing you to tears. (Big 4 Stars).
Next is the dramady, Tammy’s Always Dying starring Felicity Huffman as Tammy and Anastasia Phillips as her caring but often clueless daughter. Felicity’s character is an out of control drunk mess, always saying she’s dying, but then a doctor tells her she only has 6 months to live. Heart wrenching and soul searching. Tammy’s Always Dying. (4 Stars).
Odds and Ends: When Ed Sheeran was 10 years old he saw the movie Notting Hill, which was 200 miles from his childhood home. He fell in love with the movie and always wanted to live in Notting Hill and now he does. He just bought a home there for $20 million and as Paul Harvey would say, now you know the rest of the story.
Answer – Bill Cosby, Jack Nicholson and Adam Sandler all made the Top 10, however #4 Mel Gibson $425 million, #3 George Clooney $500 million, #2 Tom Cruz $570 million and #1 Tyler Perry $600 Million.
