This film documents the true events surrounding the Washington Post editor played by Tom Hanks and the first big market Publisher played by Meryl Streep, telling the story about how the U.S. Government covered up secrets from the American public. Gee, imagine that! The huge power brokers must weigh telling the truth, the possibility of going to prison. At the same time the N.Y. Times is also challenging the U.S. government. Great writing and acting. And oh yeah, Steven Spielberg also directs. How can this film miss? It can’t. (PG-13) – (2 Hours) – (3 ½ Stars)
Next, Paddington 2. If you liked that sweet little bear the first time around, you will really love him this time. Trying to do good, Paddington finds himself in a sticky-wicket and despite Paddy staying 1 step ahead of the cops, Paddington end’s up in prison! (PG) – (105 Minutes) – (4 Stars)
