Movie Reviews: First, Scarlett Johansson is Lucy, a creative, albeit farfetched Sci-fy film that’s comic book goofy! The opening scene is set in per-historic time, but then flashes to modern day China where the hotter than hot Scarlett is being held hostage with space age drugs sewed into her stomach. The drugs burst but doesn’t kill her, it makes her brain super active. And she goes from victim to predator and the most dangerous person on earth. Fun, entertaining summer film and Morgan Freeman is fabulous. (Rated R) – (88 Minutes) – (3 Stars)
The other movie is, A Most Wanted Man starring Phillip Seymour Hoffman in his last film, Robin Wright and Rachel McAdams. This is a spy thriller, full of espionage, double crosses, danger but to be honest it’s sometimes hard to follow. However, a great script, great acting. One of the smartest films of the year. (Rated R) – (2 Hours) – (3 Stars)
