Pop Quiz ties in with our date in History on this Aloha Friday, how many Hawaiian Islands are there? Are there 5, 6, 7 or 8?

Movie Reviews: Sorry but  Free State of Jones with Matthew McConaughey is like a boring History lesson dribbled out with too much posturing and not enough movie making. The story is interesting and true, you know I love true stories, however, it’s just too dry, too clumsy, too preachy and too slow (Rated R) – (Over 2 ½ Hours) – (2 Stars) And I’m being kind.

The Shallows, staring Blake Lively that makes Jaws look like guppies, get ready to get scared (Rated PG-13) – (Under 2 Hours) – (3/12 Stars).

Independence Day Resurgence, they are back and earth must protest itself, as good as the first, some reviewers hated it, but not me (Rated PG-13) – (Under 2 Hours) – (3 Stars).

Book Review: For months I have been telling you about Secret Service agent, Gary Byrne’s book, Crisis In Character. It’s out Monday. Byrne was Clinton’s friend, and, the Clinton’s #1 Secret Service agent, lived with them for 8 years, has no reason for him to lie, he’s donating revenue from the book to charity. Byrne says the only reason he wrote it is because American’s must know the real Clintons! It’s shocking! Crisis In Character, a must read. Remember,

you don’t know what you don’t know (4 Stars).

Date in History, June 24. This is Hawaiian Food Week, and I miss my loco da kine Bento, Butter Fish, Saimin and love da loco moco – for da Haole’s, eggs top with smashed cow and plenty gravy, or go to Roy Yamaguchi’s.

Answer – Big Island Hawaii, Lanai, Kahoolawe, Maui, Molokai, Oahu, Kauai and Niihau, that’s 8!
