Movie Reviews: Opening today, Hunger Games Mocking Jay Pt 2, better than the last one, and Jennifer Lawrence, Julianne Moore, Liam Hemsworth, the gangs all here. It stumbles, a bit cynical, little tedious and predictable yet enjoyable and you don’t want it to end. Also a touching moment when we see Philip Seymour Hoffman in a final scene. (PG13) – (2 Hours 16 Minutes) – (3 Stars) Next –Maybe the best movie of the year, Spotlight, the true story about the sexual molestations of hundreds of innocent children by Catholic priests. Boston Globe newspaper reporters are played by Michael Keaton, Mark Ruffalo and Rachel McAdams never give up to find the truth. This is an unbelievable movie, everybody should see. (R) – (2 Hours) – (4 Stars)

And, Coming to Netflix today, Marvel Comic Character Jessica Jones starring Krysten Ritter. Looks like a great show and no, she is not related to John Ritter.

Can’t make this up, Charlie Sheen is pitching all networks to let him do a sitcom based on him, a real guy with HIV. Unbelievable.

NY Post Headline: Above a story about a lying fortune teller that scammed a NY man out of 700,000 dollars who convinced him she could reincarnate his dead wife, was arrested but only sentenced to a ridiculous 300 days in jail! Post Headline screamed, “Good Fortune For Bad Psychic Scammer.”
