The Academy nominated 9 movies for Best Picture. They could have kept it to 5, The Help, War Horse, Hugo, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, and the odd duck The Artist! As for the other 4 films. Descendants, Moneyball Midnight in Paris were good, but not great, And I hated Tree Of Life. I don’t think George Clooney or Brad Pitt deserved Best Actor nominations! Instead I believe for Ryan Gosling for Ides of March and Leonardo DiCaprio for J. Edgar should have been nominated, they were great! Best Actress is the best category. Viola Davis for The Help should win, but Meryl Streep for Iron Lady and Glen Close who played a man in Albert Nobbs, have a chance. Michele Williams in My Week with Marilyn is a long shot.
TV Review: Tonight on FOX, the premier of Touch, with Kiefer Sutherland as the father of an autistic boy who is obsessed with numbers, who can stop world disasters, with his knowledge of numbers. It’s so confusing I never could figure it out. The best part is seeing Kiefer again.
Michael Jackson News: Micheal’s family wants Dr. Conrad Murray to pay them $100 million. But now, Murray has just lost his medical license in all States and he’s declared bankruptcy. How they going to get money from him? And, they have just opened a Music Learning center at the brand new Michael Jackson Elementary School here in L.A. Odd, after all the Child molesting charges and dieing of drugs, they still name a elementary school after Michael Jackson.
