Oscar News: Billy Crystal tells friends he has never worked harder than preparing and writing for Sunday’s Academy Awards. He worries skits on the nominated movies may flop because nobody’s seen them! Look for a lot of inter action with the audience and other surprises.

Here are my Big 6 picks: Despite all the publicity about George Clooney and Brad Pitt, Jean Dujarden from The Artist should win and will win Best Actor. … A lot of insiders like Meryl Streep in Iron Lady, but Viola Davis in The Help should win and will win Best Actress. … Best Supporting Actress is a toss up between Bernice Bejo from The Artist and Octavia Spencer from The Help, But Octavia will win. … As for Best Supporting Actor, Christopher Plummer will win. … Best Director is the toughest call, but my pick is Martin Scorsese for Hugo. … Best Picture, it’s between The Artist and The Help. The Help should win and will win. In the last 10 years I am 55 and 5 in my picks. … I’ll have all the Red Carpet, the Show and The Parties scoop on Monday!

Final Whitney Nugget: The real story why Aretha Franklin, Whitney’s God Mother didn’t attend the funeral, is that she has been feuding with Whitney’s Mom, Cissy, for 25 years and decided it would be better if she didn’t go. Oscar News: There’s going to be a feature on the telecast dedicated to Momminees, those are Moms of nominees including George Cloony’s, Melissa McCarthy’s and Brad Pitt’s mom’s.

Movie Review: Opening tomorrow, Act Of Valor. No big stars, but don’t let that stop you from seeing it! A team of real, yes real, Navy Seals are in this movie, who launch a mission to save a CIA Agent. From the life of these agents before their assignment until they get back home, this is a non-stop ride of loyalty, bravery, pride and thrills. Great script, acting, effects and storyline. You’ll walk out being proud to be an American. (Rated R) – (101 Minutes) – (3 ½ Stars).

Love Nuggets: What’s up with Russel Brand bad mouthing Katy Perry and telling mean and off color jokes about her? What’s up with that? … Drew Barrymore is Pregnant and will marry her fiance, Will Kopelman before the baby arrives. … Glee Co-Stars Lea Michel and Cory Monteith are an item.

TV News: ABC is begging Regis Philben to come back, stay tuned. … Sad, Soul Train’s Don Cornelius died broke. And now, there’s talk of bringing it back to TV, making a movie about it and Broadway as well.
