Odds and Ends: Before last week, the White House only had VHS. Now they have a DVD player in the living quarters. Michelle‘s favorite TV Show is Modern Family, the President‘s favorite show is Boardwalk Empire. … Last week, the Hawaii 5-0 show was shooting at the Punchbowl National Cemetery in Honolulu, when 23 very old men were talking and laying reefs at a nearby gravesites. 5-0 staffers went over and told the old men to be quiet. It was later they found out the old men were Pearl Harbor survivors and they were laying reefs on graves of their comrades, men who had died exactly 70 years earlier to the day, it was December 7th. Nice going.

Movie News: Very odd timing for Steven Spielberg. His 2 biggest movies of the year, War Horse and Tin Tin will come out the same week and will fight each other at the Box Office.

Tom Cruise News: Tom is giving acting lessons to David Beckham. For Christmas Tom is giving his 5 year-old daughter, Suri, diamond earrings, a horse, an I-Pad and a 4G Phone. Merry Christmas.

Movie Review: Mission Impossible – Ghost Protocol is the 4th of the franchise, the best of the bunch and a holiday must-see. Razzel-dazzle effects, jaw dropping visuals and a solid story line, will keep you on the edge of your seat for the entire 2 hours 15 minutes. The film opens with our hero in a Moscow jail but not for long as we see the first of the many, many, many, incredible stunts, that Tom does himself! By the way, the whole world’s existence rests with Tom and his new crew’s success and they don’t let us down. (Rated PG-13) – (4 Stars).
